Friends of the Library

  • The Friends of the Library meet on the first Thursday of the month at 1 p.m., from September through June. Our primary mission is the fund the children’s summer reading program. This includes purchasing books and prizes and payments for speakers and entertainers on each summer’s theme.
  • We also assist wherever possible in the programs that the library provides, providing extra financial help and assistance. We raise money through the sale of books donated by generous patrons and other projects.
  • Our dream is to be able to build an addition on the vacant lot next to the library which could provide a computer area and a separate children’s library.
  • New members are always welcome and needed. There are no dues required. Please join us! For more information call (636)586-6439.
