Teen Health & Wellness

This award-winning resource provides middle and high school students with up-to-date, nonjudgmental, straightforward curricular and self-help support. Articles are correlated to state, national and provincial standards. Topics covered include diseases, drugs, alcohol, nutrition, mental health, suicide, bullying and LGBTQ+ issues. It has recently been updated to meet the needs of today’s teens and with new content on bullying, suicide, vaping, opioid abuse, gender identity, school safety, sexual harassment, COVID-19 and more. Grade level 7-12.

Learning Express Library

Learning Express Library provides study materials and practice tests for the ACT, SAT, GRE, LSAT, TOEFL, ESL and more. Find information on career and professional development as well. For at home users: when prompted, use your library card to create an account and choose De Soto Public Library as your institution.

Brainfuse HelpNow is an online tutoring service for all learning levels – kindergartners through adults! HelpNow provides one-on-one online homework help, writing assistance and more. Live tutors are available between the hours of 2pm and 11pm.
